Two practical points make a real difference with this one. It must go in the fridge once opened, because the strains lose potency at room temperature, and it should be taken with a meal rather than on an empty stomach, since stomach acid is the main thing standing between the cultures and where they need to get to. The strains are of non-dairy origin, derived from soya, so it is fine if you avoid dairy but not if you have a soya allergy. If you are taking it around a course of antibiotics, leave a couple of hours between them and come and talk to us, because whether it is worth taking depends on which antibiotic and why. Please check with your doctor first if you have a significantly weakened immune system.
