Terranova Advanced Beauty Complex
Terranova Advanced Beauty Complex is built around Vollagen, a vegan collagen alternative amino acid complex, at 1000mg across three capsules. It combines this with 400mg OptiMSM, 100mg Hyaluronic Acid, 100mg silica from bamboo shoot extract, Vitamin C, zinc, biotin, pantothenic acid, astaxanthin, trans-resveratrol, arctic pine bark and grape seed extract, on a MAGNIFOOD base of fresh freeze dried nettle, bilberry, horsetail, matcha, raw cacao, pumpkin seed, watercress and gotu kola.
Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of skin. Zinc contributes to the maintenance of normal hair, skin and nails. Biotin contributes to the maintenance of normal hair, normal skin and normal mucous membranes. Vitamin A contributes to the maintenance of normal skin. Copper contributes to normal hair and skin pigmentation.
Terranova is a UK supplement brand built around its MAGNIFOOD approach, where each formula sits on a base of fresh freeze dried whole foods and botanicals chosen to work alongside the nutrients rather than acting as fillers. Terranova products contain no binders, fillers or excipients.
Designed for:
Vegetarians and vegans who want a collagen style product without marine collagen
Anyone wanting hyaluronic acid, MSM and silica alongside the nutrients involved in skin, hair and nails
People who have found single ingredient beauty supplements underwhelming
Take 3 capsules daily with food, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner. Each bottle contains 50 capsules.
Suitable for vegetarians and vegans. Not suitable during pregnancy because of the vitamin A content.
A note from our pharmacy team:
This is the product we point vegetarians and vegans towards when they ask about collagen. Vollagen provides the amino acid building blocks rather than collagen itself, which is an honest distinction worth understanding, but it does mean there is a genuine plant-based option in this category. The supporting cast is well chosen, and the vitamin C, zinc and biotin claims around skin, hair and nails are real rather than marketing. Two cautions: it contains preformed vitamin A so it is not suitable in pregnancy, and it contains matcha, which carries a small amount of caffeine, plus resveratrol and grape seed extract, so mention it if you take anticoagulants. Give it twelve weeks, nothing in this category works faster than that.
